Encouraging Lyrics from a Friend...

I friend of mine was inspired to write out lyrics that God set on his heart. After I read them, I felt compelled to share them with you all for encouragement today. The theme throughout this song is to find beauty, peace, and contentment in God and his creation. For some of us, God’s precious peace is abundant when gazing into a clear night’s sky full of a beautiful moon and thousands of stars. The lyrics talk about patience, pain, and waiting. All of these are wonderfully hard lessons we learn as single ladies, and I know God works big things through us while we are waiting. Here they are, enjoy!

----------------------------------------------

It's the lonely nights like these

i try and put my heart to ease

i can't help to think of you

and all my sorrow

Good memories fill my head

sometimes they're the ones i dread

and all i can think about

is what brings tomorrow

But then i see that Colorado sky

and i cant help to get that rocky mountain high

and i realize all this time is borrowed

Chorus:I know it seems funny to you

but to me its really true

there's something about

Gods beauty that sets me free

I see that Colorado sky

I feel as if im weightless

i can spread my wings and fly

it's summer breeze surrounds me

and i know my God has found me

and all this from a Colorado sky

this land, has a beauty and a presence

and in it, I can sense and feel his essence

and here i met my new found resurrection

hes brought this heart to calm

i realized i was wrong

and hes brought me to a point

where i know i'm beckoned

My God has a plan for me

and now its easy to see

all i have to do is

let go and let him

Chorus: i know it seems funny to you

but to me its really true

theres something about Gods

beauty that sets me free

I see that Colorado sky

i feel as if the world is weightless

i can spread my wings and fly

its summer breeze surrounds me

and i know my God has found me

and all this in a Colorado sky

I have to live in faith

run hard and win the race

so that i can hear

well done good and faithful servant

they say patience is a virtue

they dont tell you it can hurt you

its just one of those things

you have to live and learn it

we are left at the well dry

thinking worldy things we'll get by

these things we have to

let go and burn it

Chorus: i know it seems funny to you

but to me, i promise, its really true

theres something about his beauty

that sets me free

I see that Colorado sky

the chains on me now weightless

i can spread my wings and fly

It's summer breeze surrounds me

and i know my God has found me

Isaiah 40:26

“Lift your eyes and look to the heavens;

Who created all these?

He who brings out the starry host one by one,

And calls them each by name.

Because of his great power and mighty strength,

Not one of them is missing.”

I pray that you will be blessed by these lyrics today. Love you all dearly,

Haley Marie :)
